Great results

Pros : You can get gorgeous details on your dragonflies. My trick is to carefully put powder in the mold first and gently use a dry paint brush to settle it in the grooves of the wings.

Cons : You need practice with this mold if you want more spectacular dragonflies.

Other Thoughts : You will get better results on this mold with ZYP than kiln wash.

Product Description

Create dazzling, detailed cast glass dragonflies. Simply fill the mold with glass frit, scrap and powders to make one-of-a-kind glass castings. Dragonflies can make whimsical or elegant garden stakes, sun catchers, mobiles, or dimensional accents to stained glass, mosaic and tack fused designs. The applications and design possibilities are limited only by your imagination.

Ceramic mold can be used many times. Coat with casting primer before using. Mold makes 2 dragonflies: 4″ x 3″ and 2″ x 2-1/2″. Mold measures 5″ x 7″.
